Well, I decided I really needed to start that again and so we have been having at least two helpers each week. Each of the boys enjoy helping prepare a meal and being that it is only twice a week I am enjoying the "help". Missy Blue has begged to be a helper and when she gets the job she assigns herself for the entire day as often as she can. At breakfast she needs to help because "I am the helper." Or she'll say something about "Girls need to do this job in the morning, NOT boys!" She takes her role very seriously and I certainly get a chuckle out of it.

Mine love to be the cook's helper here. Actually, my older boys love to get to be the ones to cook!
I divide up the jobs every day so everyone gets to help. The 6 and 4 year old are responsible for setting the table. The 10 year old clears it off and puts things away. The oldest helps get food on the table and does the dishes. But to help mom cook is still the special deal of the day :)
Love the picture - all of the tator tots are so perfectly lined up! Makes me wonder if Lydia will enjoy be in the kitchen ... also makes me wonder what kind of "attitude" she will portray with her brothers :)
